Central Cherokee County in northeastern Texas…
* Until 1145 PM CDT.
* At 1053 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 9 miles west of Morrill, or 17 miles south of
Rusk, moving northeast at 45 mph. This storm has had a history of
producing tornadoes.
HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
