On the air

UT Tyler Radio broadcasts on 99.7 MHz from a 500-foot tower located in Bullard, Texas, with an effective radiated power of 1,650 watts. Our over-the-air signal can be heard inside most buildings about 17-20 miles from Bullard and in most vehicles out to about 30 miles. Our signal pattern is roughly in the shape of a walnut, skewing to the north-northeast.

On a smart speaker

UT Tyler Radio is available on your smart speaker through the use of an Amazon Alexa Skill. There are three easy ways to activate this skill for your device(s):

Using your computer

      1. Sign into your Amazon account and navigate to the “Alexa Skills” page on your PC or Mac computer.
      2. Search for the “UT Tyler Radio” skill using the search bar at the top of the screen or click this link.
      3. Click on the UT Tyler Radio skill and then, on the next page, click the “Enable” button.

Using your mobile device

      1. In the Alexa app on your Android or Apple phone, tap the menu icon at the top-left.
      2. In the menu, tap “Skills & Games.”
      3. Tap the magnifying glass icon and search for the “UT Tyler Radio” Skill.
      4. Select the UT Tyler Radio Skill and then tap “ENABLE TO USE.”

Using your Amazon Echo

      1. Say, “Alexa, enable the UT Tyler Radio Skill.”
      2. Alexa will acknowledge that the Skill is activated.
